Once our in-care animals are deemed fit to survive independently, they are released back into their natural habitats. Our wildlife rehabilitators assess various behavioral cues before determining whether an animal is ready for release:
Self-feeding: Demonstrating strong foraging or hunting instincts.
Zero human familiarity: Showing no reliance on or recognition of humans.
Socializing behavior: In the case of troop animals like Bonnet Macaques and Parakeets, exhibiting proper social interaction within their species.
Flight, perching ability, and posture: For birds, demonstrating the ability to fly, perch, and maintain proper posture.
